PILATES MAT: STRETCH & FLOW (All Levels)
While moving through traditional exercises developed by Joseph H. Pilates, this class will incorporate elements of yoga and flow sequencing. Focusing on developing core strength, flexibility, balance and stamina, each class will work to balance all muscle groups' strength and flexibility. Classes combine traditional weight bearing Pilates exercises with highly effective tension release moves using small props such as the foam roller, Franklin mini-balls, blocks and blankets. Learn to activate to your deep core muscles in each movement while developing muscle tone, flexibility and the self-confidence that comes from getting strong and centered Pilates mat is a challenging yet safe method to sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your every day movements.
REFORMER PILATES (Level 1-2 & Level 2-3)
The Reformer is a spring-loaded, resistance-training apparatus that allows for full range of motion with a smooth-gliding carriage. The weight-bearing equipment will help you to strengthen and stretch your entire body, while remaining completely aligned. Working with the Reformer will assist to develop improved balance, muscle tone, ease of motion and bone density. Reformer classes will leave you feeling refreshed, energized, and strong!
MIXED MACHINE PILATES (Level 1-2 & Level 2-3)
In these dynamic classes, you will explore the variation of all Pilates equipment. Session will be focused on your specific needs, while moving you through an array of Pilates exercises on various pieces of equipment, where you’ll discover new ways to move with grace, coordination, and keen body awareness. You will leave feeling invigorated, aligned, and refreshed!
